What a planet! Do we really need to distance ourselves to see things clearly and to appreciate the planet we live on? Well, not particularly. But it helps with a view ;)
Good question indeed :) I think that taking distance at any occasion is useful anyway, and not only with our planet... Actually, I like the fact that you wrote "to distance ourselves", which I find quite accurate here :) Anyway, I'm always grateful when technology helps us to be aware of the beauty we live in.
