A message from Wayne.
For once, I allow myself to display the latest of Wayne's message (Wayne Liquorman alias Ram Tzu). Firstly it's beautiful. Secondly, people who know me will understand why I have...
"Hello my loves,
Today I am in love with the world. Not for any particular reason. Other than the fact that it is amazing to be alive. To breathe. To eat a sweet, juicy peach. To touch the flesh of my beloved. To chat with a friend. Shake my head at the news...riots, disease, executions, atrocities... none of which are in my house at the moment. Scratch a bit of sleep from my eye. Catalog today's minor aches and pains and hope I am given the power to get down on the floor and stretch. The fish swim circles in the pond. I can see them without looking. Their problems are not my problems.
Today I am in love with the world. This wild, intolerable, mashup, formlessly in order. I am always surprised to experience it this way. It is like when the sun comes out in Scotland. Probably a good idea to strip naked and enjoy it while it lasts!
With love" (Wayne)

------------------------------------------------------------
Is that fate ?
Two books have just been published at the same time in the non duality category about the steps that need to be followed to get rid of addictions, both inspired by the AA steps to recovery. I find that coincidence lucky, even more as it comes to contradict (although...) that post that I've published not a long time ago about the fact that there are no steps to Awakening...
If Wayne emphasizes our addiction to our so-called personal power (which is only an illusion), Fred emphasizes our addiction to the "separate self". Finally, both illustrates with brio our addiction to the ego, which constantly mislead us on the true nature of Reality.
It is that joyful paradox inherent to nonduality that delights me :)
p.s. By the way, Wayne Liquorman's book is a must.

A priceless talk !
N.B. Les sous-titres en français sont disponibles.
I bow down to the infinite beauty of the actress Thandie Newton, who remarkably express at TED conference a pure advaita talk ! Thank you, thank you, thank you... !
A few quotes :
- “[We assume] that the self is an actual living thing, but it's not. It's a projection which our clever brains create in order to cheat ourselves from the reality of death.”
- "How many times would my self have to die before I realized it was not real in the first place ?"
- "I honestly believe the key to my success as an actor and my very progress as a person has been the very lack of self that used to make me feel so anxious and insecure."
- "We're not living with each other. Our crazy selves are living with each other and perpetuating an epidemic of disconnection. ... Let's not be freaked out by our bountiful nothingness."
- "Here's a note to self: The cracks have started to show in our constructed world."
