Intuition
"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift." (A. Einstein)

Be quiet.
Be quiet.
Find acquaintance with silence.
Go inside, delve into your heart.
Take a day off from the clamor.

Our life is a spiral, not a straight line.

"The growth of understanding follows an ascending spiral rather than a straight line." (Joanna Field)
"The path isn't a straight line; it’s a spiral. You continually come back to things you thought you understood and see deeper truths.” (Barry H. Gillespie)

The spiritual mind.
"Be totally strict with your mind; don’t let your mind talk about anything spiritual at all. The mind knows nothing about god, nothing about freedom, nothing about enlightenment, nothing about being here, but he will make speeches forever, as if he knows." (Samarpan)

Never give up
"Never give up.
No matter what is going on,
Never give up.
Develop the heart.
Too much energy in your country is spent developing the mind instead of the heart.
Be compassionate not just to your friends but to everyone.
Be compassionate.
Work for peace in your heart and in the world.
Work for peace and I say again, never give up.
No matter what is happening, no matter what is going on around you, never give up."
(His-Holiness-The-Dalai-Lama)

Peace is now, and only now...
"Regret is the longing to change the past.
Fear is the desire to control the future.

The dance of the unknown
"Let your identity be a giant question mark.
Celebrate your glorious indefinability.
Be an ever-deepening mystery to yourself.
Sing your crazy song of joy and sorrow.
Forget your plans of fabulous perfection.
Dance without rules in the vast field of the Unknown."
(Jeff Foster)

In the core of your heart.
"Deafened by
the voice of desire,
you are
unaware the Beloved lives
in the core
of your heart.
Stop the
noise, and
you will
hear His voice
in the
silence."

The suffering leading to freedom
"I remember when I first arrived at my teacher Ajahn Chah’s monastery, he looked at me and said, “I hope you’re not afraid of suffering.” I replied, “What do you mean? I came here to meditate and find inner peace and happiness.”
He explained: “There are two kinds of suffering, the suffering we run from because we are unwilling to face the truth of life, and the suffering that comes when we’re willing to stop running from the sorrows and difficulties of the world. The second kind of suffering will lead you to freedom.”
(Jack Kornfield, "Bringing Home the Dharma")
(Jack Kornfield, "Bringing Home the Dharma")
